Raising Funds for Penguin Point

Olivia, age 7, thought of the idea for Nuts & Twine in order to raise funds for Penguin Point at Sylvan Heights Bird Park. Penguin Point will be a sanctuary for African Penguins. Construction begins June 2025.

The African Penguin is a critically endangered species. As of Feb 2025, the IFAW estimates fewer than 9,900 breeding pairs survive, down from 57,000 in 2004.

Olivia is making a variety of bird feeders and other backyard delights to sell. All the proceeds will be donated to Phases 1 & 2 of this heartwarming initiative.

Olivia loves to visit Sylvan Heights Bird Park, a bird park and sanctuary home to over 2,000 water fowl and birds. The newest addition, Penguin Point, will be a state of the art home for the African Penguin, contributing to their survival.

Please join Olivia in creating a safe and nurturing environment for our feathered friends.

We are in No Way affiliated with Sylvan Heights.
